We are cheering up the long dark winter days by creating a spectacular light show in the busy shopping area of Tudor Square in Nottingham. Two thousand five hundred low energy lights have turned the humble London Plane tree into a dazzling tree of light. 

John Scott-Lee, managing director of Streetwise Environmental said, “We thought it would be fun this Christmas to dress up an English tree in its own home! It’s had lots of positive feedback from the public and it’s made Tudor Square look very festive. It’s a collaborative effort as we’ve had help with the installation and cost from some of our subcontractors – a big thank you to them.

“This is our way of wishing the residents of Nottingham a very happy Christmas.”
